YH LH ENVIRACAIRE HEPA FILTER Review

(More customer reviews)I've used the HEPA filters for at least 5 years like this and they really help keep dust down to a minimum. We also have a high traffic area with a high shedding dog who really contributes to shedding in the house. This has been a tremendous contribution to pure air in our house. It also helps filter out odors in our large livingroom.
I change this larger filter every 2 years and change the prefilter every 3 months. It's surprising how much dirt is in the air when I change the filters.

(More customer reviews)Whirlpool stopped making the filter for my air purifier. I was concerned about the fit, functional quality, and durability of an aftermarket replacement product. The filter is a perfect fit, and it seems to be doing a good job. I don't have a quantitative way to compare the original filters to these. I can say they appear to be functioning identically to the originals. I don't detect any differences.
I gave this filter a 3 star rating simply because I cannot comment yet on the lifespan of the filter. It is just way too soon. Everything looks promising. If the lifespan is shorter than the original Whirlpool filter, I would not lower my rating. The longer it lasts, the higher my rating will be.

(More customer reviews)A sneezy friend of mine got a HEPA air filter for his bedroom and said bullishly, "It changed my life!" So I bought a Honeywell HEPA air filter for my sneezy wife (along with allergy dust covers for pillows, mattesses, etc).
In the big picture I don't think any lives were changed, but this is certainly a resaonably well made and cost effective HEPA air filter, suitable for getting all kinds of small particulate airborne gunk out of your airsteam. We were both relieved to find that my sneezy wife was not allergic to her new husband, but only to his futon. But that's another story.
If you or one you love is sneezy at night, an air filter like this might just make you all really happy. And the filter makes a pleasant swooshing sound that may in time come to remind you of wind or waves. Turn it on high 20 min before bedtime and then switch it to low when you actually hit the sack. Low is much quieter.

Hunter 0766201000 Replacement Air Purifier Prefilter Review

(More customer reviews)It seems that you cannot update your Amazon Seller Feedback once entered, so I'll leave it here. I ordered this product from allergybeGone and it arrived promptly, however the packaging was so poor the pre-filter's metal frame was broken in multiple spots. Customer service was very responsive in offering me a refund, I however wanted a filter so I waited for them to restock and reship the filter. They assured me it would be packaged properly. When the filter arrived about 3 weeks later it was packaged in the exact same fashion as the first. While not broken the frame and metal filter have multiple bends and dents. This one will fit in the unit so I'll keep it- but I will not order pre-filters from Allergybegone again.
The filter appears like the original hunter but I can't know for sure.

The people at Clean Air Supply were terrific and accommodating with the return even though it was my fault. Love the Austin air cleaner too. Have had 3 of them in our home for a lot of years. The filter replacements are pricy but last 5 years and do a great job the entire time.

They did not deliver the filter and they provided me with some fake package number that USPS said it did not exist. They also ignored my email messages - only once they responded with some idiotic text. I complained to Amazon and Amazon has returned me my money quickly. Why they ask me to write a review about a filter I didn't get, I have no idea.

Sunbeam 6613 HEPA filter. Review

The carbon filters odors, the other parts of the filter trap the many sorts of particles which are floating around inside your home or workspace. It is a semi-coarse, self supporting filter media embedded with carbon. It cuts easily with boning shears to fit some obsolete or custom blower units. I use it as a secondary filter after a large particle filter and before a HEPA style filter for a continually dusty area. I feel it works well for my situation.
