(More customer reviews)I've had this air purifier for about 2 years and just recently noticed the UV bulb had burned out. I could really tell the difference in the mold count in my apartment!
Mine is black and blends nicely next to my nightstand. I keep it on in auto mode anytime I'm home. It'll kick on a higher speed if it detects dust, odors, etc. The lowest setting is a nice white-noise level for sleeping. It's really low maintenance. I vacuum off the pre-filter and hepa every few weeks. I'd recommend you order an extra UV bulb, so you don't have to wait for replacement.
The only trouble I had with it was right out of the box, one of the clips that holds the cover on was broken. It doesn't need it to operate, so I didn't worry about it.
